What are Trio I-Move’s special features

Is it safe to rotate the stroller seat with the baby still inside it?

Yes. This stroller conforms to EN 1888 safety standards which certify the stability of the stroller, and therefore the baby’s complete safety whilst the seat is rotated.

Is it normal for the stroller handle and seat to move a bit if shaken?

Yes, this slight movement is normal and does not compromise the safety of your baby in any manner.
On the contrary, this clearance is needed to allow the various moving parts enough room to move freely and guarantee that the stroller continues to work properly

Where should I put the carrycot lap belt when not used in the car?

It is recommended to use the lap belt even during a baby’s first walks outdoors with his mum and dad. If, however, you decide not to use it, it can be slipped under the soft ergonomic mattress or folded away along the side of the carrycot

Can I wash the I-Move fabrics?

Yes. All the I-Move fabric parts (except the bumper bar) are removable and hand-washed in cold water.

For how long can I use the I-Move stroller?

Thanks to the fact that it is possible to fully recline the backrest, the I-Move stroller can be used from birth up to 3 years of age.

What are the advantages of being able to rotate the stroller seat?

Research studies* have shown that the direction of the stroller seat has an impact on the level of parent- child interaction. During the first few months in life, it is essential for a baby to interact with his parents: With the seat in parent-facing mode, the baby maintains a direct emotional relationship with his mother. This encourages infant intellectual development. As the baby grows, however, he will want to start discovering the world he lives in: turning the seat to front-facing mode, the baby can observe everything going on around him.

What maintenance does the I-Move stroller require to keep it in excellent condition?

Lubricate only if necessary, with a light application of a silicone based dry oil on the moving parts. It is also recommended to periodically check the condition of the wheels and keep them clean of dust and sand. Also make sure all plastic parts that slide along the metal tubes are clean and free from dust, dirt and sand; this will avoid friction that may prevent the stroller from working properly. It is recommended to store the stroller in a dry place.

Can the carrycot be used even during the hottest time of the year?

Yes. Thanks to the practical mesh fabric windows, on the hood and carrycot cover, the baby will be guaranteed perfect air circulation so he can rest peacefully, even on a very hot day. Moreover, it also has two exclusive ventilation vents on the sides of the carrycot and a breathable mesh fabric lining to guarantee excellent air circulation and create the ideal mini-climate for the baby. In addition, the cradle is fitted with a practical removable insect net to protect the baby in Summer.

Can I use the I-Move carrycot when travelling by car?

Yes. Using the Car Kit (included) the carrycot is ideal for transporting your baby by car during the first few months of life. The lap belt, fixed to the carrycot base, also guarantees extra safety for your baby when travelling by car..

When should I use the carrycot?

The carrycot is the most suitable transportation system for babies from their first days of life as they allow newborns to lie down flat, the most suitable position during the first few months. The carrycot can normally be used from 0 to 6 months, according to the baby’s growth rate.

Why must a Group 0+ child car seat for infants be fitted inside the car facing backwards?

The muscle tone in younger babies is still very weak so, if an accident occurs where the car is hit from behind, the position of the baby’s spine means that the collision impact on the neck will be much lower compared to the level of impact that would occur if he was facing forwards.

When should I replace the car seat?

The child car seat is suitable for carrying children from birth until they weigh 13 kg. It should, however, be replaced if:
1. the child’s head is visible above the top edge of the car seat,
2. It is subject to strong impact (for instance, during an accident, even if the child was not on board at the time).

Can I use the child car seat with the airbag enabled?

This restriction applies to Group 0+ child car seats only, the group to which Auto Fix belongs. The child car seat can only be installed on a front vehicle seat if the front airbag has been disabled. There are no restrictions concerning lateral air bags.
